The Daily Terror

Due to holiday madness I’ve not had the chance to tell you about the release of The Daily Terror. It’s been in the works for a while and is now out and about around London as the antidote to the throw away press that clogs up our eyes and minds.

Produced for A Child Of The Jago, The Daily Terror features an abundance of must have knowledge. From Liam Maher’s excellent Militant Guild of Rural Tailors to Vivienne Westwood’s Active Resistance Manifesto illustrated by none other than my good self!

I have produced all the layout design for the magazine, which comes in a Time/Newsweek style format but much more punk in its ethics and look. A Child Of The Jago is an ongoing fashion and retail project by Joe Corre (Agent Provocateur founder) and Barnzley (no job title does him justice) so the visual design and art direction needed to suit the heritage of the brains behind the project.

Check A Child Of The Jago for the latest info on how to get hold of issue 1 and the currently in development issue 2!

The Illustrated Ape - Monorex Edition

As mentioned previously, The Illustrated Ape that I produced the layout design for is now out. Monorex Edition is looking pretty dam good if I don’t say so myself.

Out now in some good places and at the Ape.

Sichi X Vivienne Westwood

It’s been some time in development but has now gone to the printers. More information will be posted here soon… and here.

In the meantime, shown above is a sneak of the illustrations I produced in collaboration with Vivienne Westwood’s Active Resistance Manifesto. The characters are Pinocchio (as a human), Alice (from Wonderland) and Aristotle. Below are some reworked illustrations, produced in a series, to present the individual characters.

Behind The Scenes

Last night saw the launch of the Dirty Stop Out EP with a gig at Camden’s KoKo. Along with the show was an Agent Provocateur A/W collection catwalk show.

I spent much of the show backstage, documenting the behind the scenes goings on.

The Illustrated Ape - Monorex Edition

The latest issue of The Illustrated Ape is now in shops.

I teamed up with the Monorex crew to put together the special edition, loosely themed around ‘the animated ape’ but more heavily influenced by the wealth of creative people available to Monorex. Not only do I have 3 full page illustrations in there but I also did the layout design and pulled in a load of great content from friends around the globe.

I have also produced an art print of the “Move Me” image I created - which features in the magazine. Head over to the HOF main site to grab one of the 10 copies that will be produced, signed, numbered and mailed to 10 lucky people (just click the info/price to proceed to paypal). A3 giclee on beautiful art stock paper for just £30 +p&p. SOLD OUT!

Welcome to Utopia. One of a series of prints based on that title using this word in all sorts of ways…

I know copy + paste is lazy but if it looks good I’m happy.
