Sichi X Vivienne Westwood

It’s been some time in development but has now gone to the printers. More information will be posted here soon… and here.

In the meantime, shown above is a sneak of the illustrations I produced in collaboration with Vivienne Westwood’s Active Resistance Manifesto. The characters are Pinocchio (as a human), Alice (from Wonderland) and Aristotle. Below are some reworked illustrations, produced in a series, to present the individual characters.

Behind The Scenes

Last night saw the launch of the Dirty Stop Out EP with a gig at Camden’s KoKo. Along with the show was an Agent Provocateur A/W collection catwalk show.

I spent much of the show backstage, documenting the behind the scenes goings on.

The Illustrated Ape - Monorex Edition

The latest issue of The Illustrated Ape is now in shops.

I teamed up with the Monorex crew to put together the special edition, loosely themed around ‘the animated ape’ but more heavily influenced by the wealth of creative people available to Monorex. Not only do I have 3 full page illustrations in there but I also did the layout design and pulled in a load of great content from friends around the globe.

I have also produced an art print of the “Move Me” image I created - which features in the magazine. Head over to the HOF main site to grab one of the 10 copies that will be produced, signed, numbered and mailed to 10 lucky people (just click the info/price to proceed to paypal). A3 giclee on beautiful art stock paper for just £30 +p&p. SOLD OUT!

New work - sneak preview

Welcome to Utopia. One of a series of prints based on that title using this word in all sorts of ways…

I know copy + paste is lazy but if it looks good I’m happy.

Terrorist HQ

My work at Terrorist HQ continues and I found some time to paint up the end of our studio. We’re polite Terrorists and ask you to be as well, so if you are visiting please note the sign on the door.

I finished this just in time for the marauding hoards of Open House visitors. At the last count, over 1000 people had passed through the Village Underground premises. I hope they enjoyed their time there.

Font nerds activists might like to know that I used House Broken Clean by House Industries for the lettering stencil. The AKs are mine and the Wasps are the Terrorist label’s logo. This is going to be a transient piece… not in the sense that it is going to be moving anywhere (there are no wheels on these trains) but I will add and subtract elements to the piece over time.

I’ve always liked army green and the temptation to not give the train a military look was too much to resist.

Fashion vs Sport at V&A

Another launch at the V&A last night for the Fashion vs Sport exhibition. Not really my thing… and the copious amounts of free champagne aren’t agreeing with me today…

Worth a look if you are seriously into fashion.
