Tokyo

In contrast to the small city of Shizuoka and in contrast to pretty much every other city in the world, Tokyo is the epitome of “sprawling metropolis”.



 

There is not much to say about Tokyo that hasn’t already been said - its built around “being different”; each district is different to its neighbour, each person has their own style, even if most of the time it is spent hiding behind the anonymity of a simple charcoal grey suit, tie and briefcase. Some of it is just plain wrong.

There is of course a wonderful culture of creativity. It was great to meet old friends again and make some new ones.
